세상은 알쏭달쏭하고 묘한 일들이 널렸다.  

어찌 표현할 방법이 영어로는 부족하다만, 그야말로 세상은 요지경속이다! 
지랄도 풍년이다! 마구 법석을 떨며 분별없이 하는 행동이 넘쳐난다!

요지경이란 말이 신비한 일들이 넘쳐난다는 밝은 의미라기보다 참 기가막히고 어처구니가 없는 일들이 많다는 시니컬한 의미이다.

 

The world was full of mystery and strange things.  

There's not enough way to express it in English, but the world is the gist of the story! 
There's a good harvest! He is full of fussy and senseless behavior!
The word "Yojigyeong" does not mean a bright meaning of overflowing with mysterious things,

but rather a cynical meaning that there are many things that are unbearable and ridiculous.
