시간은 마술사이다. 
시간이 흐르면 작품은 바래지고 해진다. 그 바래짐과 해짐의 자연스러움이 작품을 변화시키고 그것마저도 예술이 된다. 예술가가 창작할 때의 인위적인 노력은 창작의 과정을 통해 부단히도 벽에 부딪힌다. 그리고 고결한 예술성의 제단 앞에서 겸손해진다. 시간이 지나 퇴색되고 해짐으로 인하여 부자연스러운 모든 것들이 자연스럽게 조화가 일어난다. 잘못 그린 것 같았던 밑그림은 좋은 배경이 되어주고 그것들이 빠짐없이 구성에 포함되어 작품이 된다. 그것이 너무나 멋지기때문에 예술가는 그 빈티지함마저도 흉내 내고 조작해 낸다. 그러나 아무래도 시간이 가져다주는 진짜 빈티지함을 따라갈 수는 없다.

As time passes, the work fades and becomes worn out. The naturalness of the fading and wear changes the work and even that becomes art. The artist's artificial efforts during creation often hit a wall during the creative process. And I become humble before the altar of noble artistry. All unnatural things that fade and wear out over time naturally come into harmony. The sketch that seemed like it was drawn incorrectly becomes a good background, and they are all included in the composition to become the work. Because it is so cool, artists imitate and manipulate even its vintage look. However, it cannot possibly match the true vintage feeling that time brings.
