어마어마한 우주에

너무나도 작디작은 나 자신을 옮겨다 놓고 

마음대로 오고갈 수는 없어도

자기방식대로 자기만의 화판에 옮겨놓고

표현하고 싶어할 수 있는 것이다.

지극히 유한한 것들 속에서

지극히 무한해만 보이는 저 거대한 우주를..

그리고 그 흔적을 그려보고 싶었던 것 같다.

 

뭔가 처절해 보이기도 한다.

타오르다 만 화염같기도 하다.

 

다 투영하기 나름이지만

때론 작가의 의도보다 중요한 것이 보는 사람의 주관이리라.  

그가 보고 느끼면 그가 보고 느낀 그 느낌으로 남는 것이다. 

 

그것이 더 존중되고 우선인 포스트모더니즘의 세상이 아직도 여전하기에 말이다.

in an enormous universe
I moved myself so small 
I can't come and go however I want
Put it on your own drawing board
It's something you might want to express.
in the most finite of things
That huge universe that seems to be extremely infinite..
And I think I wanted to paint the trail.

Something looks desperate, too.
It's kind of like a flame that burns.

It all depends on the projection
Sometimes it is the subjectivity of the viewer that is more important than the writer's intention.  
When he sees and feels, it remains the same feeling he sees and feels. 
The world of postmodernism, where it is more respected and prioritized, still remains.
