<Uncontainable Fragments>
This work is a conversation between materials, a space where fragments remain free. It does not follow a fixed plan, but instead invites a different kind of perception. Layers of hanji, pigment, and print exist together, each with its own memory and texture. A bold shape asserts itself against a subtle pattern, and a torn edge reveals an unexpected layer. The eye can wander, connecting traces and sensations. What is seen and felt is enough.

이 작품은 물질들 간의 대화이다. 이곳은 파편들이 자유롭게 머물며, 하나의 해석에 갇히기를 거부하는 공간이다. 한지와 안료, 프린트의 층들이 각자의 기억과 질감을 품고 함께 존재한다. 대담한 형태는 미묘한 패턴에 맞서고, 찢긴 가장자리는 예상치 못한 층위를 드러낸다. 눈은 자유롭게 유영하며 흔적과 감각을 연결한다. 누구든 각자에게 보여지는 만큼 보고 느껴지는 만큼 느끼면 족하다.

This work is not the result of a fixed blueprint, but of a conversation between materials. It is a space where fragments remain free, refusing to be confined by a single interpretation. Layers of hanji, pigment, and print exist together, each with its own memory and texture. What appears to be chaos is not an absence of order, but a new kind of space—one where every element finds its own rhythm and place without being forced into a single narrative.
The work invites a different kind of perception. Instead of a fixed composition, there is a field of possibility where the eye can wander, connecting traces and textures. A translucent layer whispers of an earlier color, a bold shape asserts itself against a subtle pattern, and a torn edge reveals an unexpected layer of pigment. Each fragment holds its own world, a small moment of exchange between my hands and the material.
What you are looking at is an accumulation of moments and decisions that were never definitive. It is a direct encounter with the raw, physical reality of the work itself, existing outside of labels and theories. What is seen and felt is enough.
