This work revisits an early Labyrinth painting through an intensive reworking process over two years. Oriental pigments on Hanji are layered repeatedly, creating a dense texture that embodies the philosophy: a total condition of inseparable co-existence. This stratification, marked by preserved bleeding and subsequent overlays, is a visual record of the accumulation of psychological time and struggle. The piece reflects the narrative of "being lost in the labyrinth" and transforms the support into a living document of the ongoing, unwavering commitment that adherence to mutual boundaries might lead to shared prosperity.

이 작품은 2년에 걸친 집중적인 재작업 과정을 통해 초기 미궁 회화를 다시 다룬 것이다. 한지 위의 동양화 안료가 반복적으로 쌓여 분리될 수 없는 공존의 총체적 조건이라는 철학을 구현하는 밀도 높은 질감을 만든다. 보존된 번짐과 덧칠로 표시된 이 층위는 심리적 시간과 투쟁의 축적을 기록한다. 이 작업은 "미궁 속에 길을 잃은" 서사를 반영하며, 상호 경계 존중이 공동 번영으로 이어질 수 있다는 흔들림 없는 의지에 대한 살아있는 문서로 완성된다.

 

 

Labyrinth - The Color of Accumulation is an extended meditation on the structural failure of collective trajectory within contemporary life. Reconstituted from an early Labyrinth series piece (2023) through multiple, layered interventions, the work maps the degradation from a shared maze—where escape was possible—to a self-imposed labyrinth of existential stagnation.

The support is Hanji adhered to a panel board. Oriental pigments, diluted with water, are built up repeatedly, achieving a formidable material density that transcends the conventional thinness of Eastern painting. This physical layering embodies the core philosophy: a total condition of inseparable co-existence—a profound, yet frustrated, yearning for communal destiny.

Bold ink lines rigidly compartmentalize the surface. This fragmentation serves as a critique of societal retreat, where the pursuit of common solutions dissolves into stratification and the fortification of singular interests. The intensive reworking over two years embodies the psychic shock that "the exit believed to be open was closed," marking a point of no return and reflecting the paralysis of progress.

The sedimentation of color and the preserved marks of the past are a visible chronicle of this sustained psychological pressure. Yet, the work clings to a utopian whisper: that adherence to mutual boundaries (non-aggression and preservation of line) might transcend the confines of the labyrinth, initiating a movement toward shared prosperity. This layered process is the ultimate record of an enduring idealism against structural despair.

**「미궁 - 축적의 색」**은 현대 삶에서 공동 궤적의 구조적 실패에 대한 확장된 명상이다. 초기 미궁 시리즈(2023)의 작품을 다층적 개입을 통해 재구성하여, 탈출 가능성이 있던 공유된 미로가 자발적 실존적 정체의 미궁으로 퇴화하는 과정을 화면에 그린다.

바탕은 한지를 부착한 판넬보드이다. 물로 희석한 동양화 안료가 반복적으로 쌓여, 동양화의 관습적 경계를 넘어서는 압도적인 물질적 밀도를 이룬다. 이 물리적 층위는 분리될 수 없는 공존의 총체적 조건이라는 핵심 철학을 담아내며, 공동의 운명에 대한 깊고 좌절된 염원을 투사한다.

굵은 먹선은 바탕을 엄격하게 구획한다. 이 파편화는 공동의 해결책 모색이 계층화와 단일 이익의 요새화로 와해되는 사회적 후퇴에 대한 비평이다. 2년에 걸친 집중적인 재작업 행위는 "열린 줄 알았던 출구가 닫힌" 심리적 충격을 담아내며, 진보의 마비를 반영하고 돌아올 수 없는 지점을 표식한다.
