The work is a quiet inquiry into Area, Texture, and Sensation (各面각質각감). Area (各面) is claimed by the soft weight of Indigo and the gentle volume of Yellow. Texture (各質) is the uncorrected truth of the paper—a history written by warping and fine fissures. The surface only asks to be felt, offering the material's life as a quiet source from which the observer's Sensation (各감) may bloom. Texture to touch with your eyes. The Hanji warps and fissures upon meeting the pigment. This most honest history of Hanji is the depth of the work. A quiet surface resonates within the observer, awakening layered emotion.

This work quietly invites the eye beyond the simple surface of shape and color, into the layered presence of Area, Texture, and Sensation (各面각質각감). It attempts a subtle translation of aesthetic variety into a deeper material reality.

A gentle tension permeates the surface. The deep mass of Indigo rests at the base, claiming its Area (各面) through its inherent, quiet weight. Above it, the luminous Yellow rises, forming a soft volume of light held in delicate suspension. Every hand-torn line is simply a quiet boundary where one presence yields to the next.

The true narrative unfolds within the Texture (各質). The surface is a visual history, captured by the hanji fiber's honest response to the Oriental pigments. Different weights of paper were laid down, allowing color to either build up a slight topography or softly yield and seep into the depths. The material speaks without being prompted: the natural warping, buckling, and fine fissures are the material's uncorrected truth. They form a quiet material signature of the time spent in creation.
